I’ll be honest, entering your very own classroom for the first time can be a bit overwhelming.

I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was three years old, playing school in my room. My dreams came true when I received my first teaching job as a fifth-grade teacher!

I quickly learned that being a teacher was not for the faint of heart. There is so much more to our job than meets the eye. So, if you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed, know you are not the only one, I’ve been there too.

As educators, we spend so much time in our classrooms. We teach our students, plan lessons, build a community, and much more!
